Today, Ziggurat Interactive, publisher of multiplatform retro and modern games, reveals the next release in their Retro First Friday initiative: the zany and bizarre DOS adventure Guardians of Infinity: To Save Kennedy! With the time continuum inexplicably unraveling by the hour, threatening to destroy the planet, players will travel back in time in this text-based adventure to prevent the assassination of President Kennedy and avert the destruction of Earth!
Originally developed by Paragon Software, Guardians of Infinity: To Save Kennedy sees players assuming the identity of Adam Cooper, whose mission is to thwart the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and successfully return to the year 2087. Guide agents to critical cities such as Washington, D.C., Hyannis Port, and Dallas where they must convince the President's family, friends, and associates that his life is in jeopardy. This isn’t your typical text adventure, though! Between the giant dinosaurs and space lasers, players will definitely need to bust out the manual to complete this complex story from 1988. Can President Kennedy be saved? Can the timeline be fixed?? Who is the evil mastermind behind the assassination and the plot to destroy time???
